Çolakoğlu Machine commenced its operations under the name Çolakoğlu Engineering Machinery Industry and Trade Ltd. Şti., founded by Mechanical Engineer Halil Çelikarslan in 1980. Initially, it continued its production with tea processing machines and marble processing machines in 1983. After getting acquainted with the mining sector in 1994, it shifted its focus towards manufacturing for this industry. In 1996, the company relocated to the Arsin Organized Industrial Zone and formalized its structure. In 2004, it began manufacturing with international production quality after establishing a partnership with Outotec O.Y., one of the leading mining companies globally, continuing to export to many countries worldwide. The collaboration between Outotec O.Y. and Çolakoğlu Machinery has been successfully maintained since 2004.

Çolakoğlu Machinery specializes in machine design, manufacturing, and facility installation to meet the needs of the mining and industrial sectors, being one of the leading companies in the industry with a production capacity of 550 tons per month. With its technical team consisting of young, dynamic engineers, and technicians trained in-house, it possesses experienced project planning, manufacturing, and assembly teams. As of the beginning of 2020, our company continues its production and operations with its Samsun/Kavak location, operating in two separate factory areas covering 21,000 m2 with a strong and technical team, providing project and engineering services.

In order to more effectively meet the demands of our customers for longer-lasting and higher-performance products, our company became a member of HARDOX Wearparts in 2014. It continues to manufacture as an authorized producer and meets customer demands at the highest level. Since 2004, our company has been providing services in accordance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) standards. In 2017, it also obtained OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) certificates, fulfilling its commitment to continuous improvement in quality, environment, occupational health, and safety. In 2018, to improve welding quality and manufacture more robust steel structures, it obtained the EN ISO 3834-2 Welding Quality Certificate. In 2020, it completed the transition to TSE EN ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety International Standard).

Çolakoğlu Machinery earned the title of R&D Center in March 2018 to bring to life the products and designs needed by the sector without compromising on quality and to contribute to the industry through research and development activities.

As Çolakoğlu R&D Center, we continue our project and design work and collaborate with universities and industries.
